Today marks the passing of
Peter Boyle, known most recently as some dad on some tv show on some network, but forever, in many of our hearts, is immortalized as the Monster in Mel Brooks' 1974 classic Young Frankenstein.

Right now, my feet are kicked up and the black and white classic flickers on my screen, a beer opened in toast to an actor who, still, after literally dozens of viewings, can wrestle a chuckle out of me with a simple look.
