inane ramblings in order to discover something...or just kill time

Good birthday weekend. We bought a propane grill, propelling us straight into 1989! It's the most awesomest purchase of me lifetime: You light, click, cook, eat. No fuss, no muss.

Sunday we had over a few friends from Disney to mosaic our barbeque and to, well, barbeque. Great fun, although inspiration n'ere did find me, as I was slumped over burgers and tofu pups, but everyone else's work is a-a-amaaazing. We stlil must grout it in though, so we're only 1/2 way there, and I can't wait to get my fingers iun some wet, slippery stuff.

Huhn?

All in all, 4 days off has given me the perspective I need to stave off my killing spree for another month or so.

Tomorrow, I'll get that , "It was ___# of years today that I gave birth to you, Rusty," obligatory call from Momma, a sweet, sweet kiss from Dara at my wakeup bidding me a happy one, and I must say (or Frank S. would have said), it's been a very good year. I took a screenwriting course that really got me kickstarted, at least for awhile, regained contact with my soul-pal David Leamy on "Viva La Bam", and tried to get the homestead on course. PLUS, I've actually written a little, at least thought about it on an every day basis, which is what this BLOG bull$hit is all about. But I'm loaded full of booze and beef at the moment, so what the shite do I know?

It's a miracle that we're anything at all, and I am glad to have landed in this life. I feel love the majority of the time, which doesn't suck.

Yes, I've had a tub full of scotch, if you can't tell.

Boy oh boy, is Mexico grand.

See photos of it here:

Once I learn html, I'll make it pertier and more user-friendly.

That page is off the website the lovely, talented, and diminutive Dara created on Adobe Go Live (suck of an application as it may be). Check the rest of it at:

Once again, when I figure out html, it'll be pertier.

Holy balls God, it's hot today. Must be 100 (F, not C: We'd be liquid), bright as all hell out there, baking my sorry, pasty ass. My birthday arrives in a few weeks: I remember growing up, it always being a little on the chilly side, the tips of the oak tree on the front lawn beginning to yellow, throwing on a windbreaker before playing outside. That autumn smell, you just don't get that in So Cal.

Jeez, I never thought I'd use "So Cal". Maybe I'll start my own thing, like, "SouCali" or "Thernfornia". Maybe not.

Only 3 weeks until the boss and his piece of ass on the side head back to the field to shoot. Then the chains will fall, dancing will commence, and my dick will grow three inches!

I like the new short story I've started on, about the narcoleptic prize fighter in the 1930's. You will too, bitches.
